Continuation of grass material research through diving into its roots. Growing grass from the seed and letting the roots grow into templates revealing its amazing qualities.

‘THERE’S GOLD IN THIS GROUND’ is a one-wall exhibition alongside a performance of cutting grass. It is a collection of the book, the tools, the experiments, the philosophy and the playlist. All in order to show the paradox of the grass: it’s beauty & potential against it’s gate to capitalism.

An ode to grass

Memories of football games, swimming pools, park parties and
playing pretend in the younger years
we were kings and queens, our kingdom fifty shades of green
defending it with scissors as our swords

gegroeid en geregeerd
grillen gieren geklets en geroddel op het gazon
onze steden groen verglazen
schitterende groene glorie
er is goud in deze grond

an ode to grass
grown and governed
grilling, giggling, gassing and gossiping on the lawn
glazing our towns green
gorgeous green glory
there’s gold in this ground,

go grass,
go grow
ga gras,
ga groeien
