TWO TONGUE TRUMPET
Spring 2022
A collaborative and combative battle of the breaths, a strangely intimate
and uncomfortable experience of connection and compromise. Like glasblowing,
like the glasblowing experience with my class, relies on coordinated teamwork. What rises from the
ashes: a non-verbal system of communication - a moment of eye contact, deep
breaths, and a triumphant trumpet sound.
